The name is from a bridge on the Old river of NanBa River, with a total area of 5.3 square kilometers, consisting of two parts of North and south. The district has 8 communities, including Dashanzi community, Zhongbeilu road community, Gaojiayuan community, Hongxialu road community, Nanlu road community, Stadium Road community, Donglu road community and Yisi garden community.Since 1952, with the assistance of the former USSR and the Democratic Germany, Jiuxianqiao has built some factory，example 774, 706, 707, 718, 751, 798, and so on. After that, factory 12, 878, 738, 506, etc. ha
