Beijing Huiwen Middle School (Peking Academy High School)has a long history. It was established 154 years ago in 2025. It is also the largest middle school in the central urban area of ??Beijing, with ??more than 27,000 square meters.Beijing Huiwen Middle School was founded in 1871. Its predecessor was a private school attached to the American Christian Church. In 1952, it was renamed Beijing No. 26 Middle School. It moved to its current location in 1959 and was allowed to restore the name of "Beijing Huiwen Middle School" in 1989. In 2013, the turnover was started due to the reconstruction of the teaching building. The turnover school is located at No. 58 Tiantan East Road, and classes are concentrated on a certain day every week to return to the old campus. Due to various factors, the reconstruction of the teaching building was extended until 2018.
